Monday – in Northern Ireland on Ministerial Business.
Tuesday – in Northern Ireland on Ministerial Business. Announced a £350,000 funding package for the Naomi Centre to complete its refurbishment work and increase the range of services it offers, the Naomi Centre provides services to women, children and young people experiencing domestic violence.
Back to the House of Commons in evening for Parliamentary votes.
Wednesday – in London for Parliamentary Business, including Prime Minister’s Question Time – which was taken by Harriet Harman. Attended Communication Workers’ Union briefing, regarding postal services in the North West.
Thursday – in London on Parliamentary Business. Returned to Manchester in the evening.
Friday – in Wythenshawe and Sale East for Constituency Business.
Met with local parents who have children at Ewing School, Didsbury, regarding the possible school closure and current consultation.
Visited Ashgate Primary School.
Met with Trafford Primary Care Trust regarding integrated services in Trafford.
Saturday – Attending lacrosse match at Brooklands Sports Club.
Sunday – in Manchester.
