Attended the official opening of the third rail platform by The Rt Hon Geoff Hoon MP, Secretary of State for Transport, at Manchester Airport train station.
Visited line dancing class at Woodhouse Park Lifestyle Centre to help promote the importance of healthy lifestyles for all ages in Wythenshawe and Sale East.

Met representatives from The Ticker Club, at the NW Heart Centre, to accept an invitation to become Joint President of the group. The Ticker Club is a local charity whose members have had heart operations at Wythenshawe Hospital.
