Wednesday – in London for Parliamentary Business, including Prime Minister’s Questions.
Thursday – in Wythenshawe and Sale East for Constituency Business. Welcomed the Home Secretary, Jacqui Smith, to Newall Green High School to discuss ID cards with pupils at the school.
Friday – in Wythenshawe and Sale East for Constituency Business.
Visited Remploy Employment Services Branch, Fountain Street, Manchester to discuss their work supporting unemployed people into mainstream employment.
Visited St Bede’s School to speak about why politics is important, particularly in relation to young people.
Returned to Northern Ireland in the evening for Ministerial Business.
Saturday – in Northern Ireland for Ministerial Business.
Sunday – in Northern Ireland for Ministerial Business. Returned to Manchester in the afternoon.
