Met with Siôn Simon MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Further Education at the Department of Innovations, University of Skills, with Tony Lloyd MP to discuss college building programmes, including the proposed Manchester College campus in Benchill.
Travelled to Rochdale in the evening to help with campaigning for the European elections. Returned to Manchester.
Friday – in Wythenshawe and Sale East for Constituency Business.
Met constituent to discuss ongoing problems at Burnsall Walk Post Office.
Met Aamir Chaudhry, Community Welfare Counsellor from the Consulate General of Pakistan to discuss issues affecting local residents from the Pakistani community.
Visited PLS Civil Engineering Limited in Sale.
Held an advice surgery for local residents at the Forum Library, Wythenshawe.
